Animal-Assisted Rabbit Visits & Wellness
We provide animal-assisted experiences across Metro Vancouver with our beloved rescue animals. We believe in the powerful bond between humans and animals. A connection that fosters healing, comfort, and mutual growth. Beyond these visits, we devote our time and love to ensuring our animals live happy, healthy lives. At the heart of our mission is a promise: to create lasting, positive change in both the lives of the people we meet and the animals we care for.
Why Choose Us?
Rescued with Love
Every bunny has a story of second chances, making each visit even more meaningful. We are not a petting zoo. Instead, our visits support the ethical and ongoing socialization of rescued rabbits while educating others about proper rabbit care and helping families understand that rabbits are not ideal pets for everyone. Our visits are enriching for the rabbits as well, providing positive engagement, playtime, trust-building, and treats. At the heart of our work is a commitment to creating meaningful, lasting impact for both humans and animals.
Trusted by Leading Organizations
We’re honoured to collaborate with respected brands, wellness spaces, and senior living communities across Metro Vancouver, including The Westin Bayshore, Lululemon, Fairmont Chateau, QuadReal, Samadhi Shala Amica Senior Living, Chartwell Senior Living, Hyatt Regency, UBC, KPU, Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club, Jericho Tennis Club, and Point Grey Golf & Country Club.
Safe, Professional, & Experienced
We provide everything needed for a smooth visit. Our team is experienced working directly with individuals struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction, dementia, speech impairment, and children/adults living with a disability.
Why Animal-Assisted Visits?
“Research indicates that interacting with animals can increase feel-good hormones like oxytocin and dopamine, while reducing cortisol (TELUS Health, 2024).” There’s something incredibly special about the quiet, comforting presence of rabbits.
For those struggling with stress, anxiety, grief, or loneliness, the simple act of petting a rabbit can be incredibly soothing. Their soft fur, gentle nature, and calming energy can lower stress levels, ease anxious thoughts, and bring a sense of peace in ways that words often can’t. Studies have shown that animal-assisted therapy can reduce blood pressure, boost mood, and even help with emotional regulation—proving just how powerful these interactions can be¹.
But it’s more than science; it’s about the feeling. It’s about watching a child’s face light up with joy², seeing an elderly person in a care home smile for the first time in weeks³, or giving someone a moment of peace on a tough day. Rabbits have an incredible way of reaching people, offering unconditional comfort in a world that often feels overwhelming.
Studies show that animal-assisted activities, particularly those involving rabbits, can have a measurable impact on children’s self-esteem. By creating a sense of comfort and engagement, these interactions help children feel more confident in themselves. Stronger self-esteem at an early age also plays a key role in healthy development as children grow into adolescence (Kim, 2024).⁴ For children facing emotional or behavioural challenges, animal-assisted therapy can provide comfort and motivation beyond what traditional counselling alone offers. Research shows that planned interactions with animals can be an effective and compassionate complement to traditional counselling approaches (Jalongo, 2022).⁵ Rabbit (Bunny) therapy is also beneficial for children and adults with disabilities, providing a sensory-friendly, comforting experience that fosters connection and emotional well-being.
