"At Vancity Girls Club, we strive to create safe and supportive spaces for our girls, and Farm Friends helped us take that to the next level. They brought in a group of the most adorable, gentle bunnies, and the impact on the girls’ mental health was truly incredible.
From the moment the bunnies arrived, we saw an immediate shift—anxious energy melted away, smiles spread across faces, and a sense of calm filled the room. Some of the girls, who are usually reserved, opened up in ways we hadn't seen before. The simple act of holding and petting a bunny brought comfort, joy, and a sense of connection that words can’t fully capture.
Animals have a powerful way of helping with emotional regulation, reducing stress, and creating a moment of peace in an otherwise busy or challenging world. The bunnies reminded our girls that softness and warmth exist, that they are worthy of care, and that healing can come in the form of something as simple as a gentle nuzzle.
We can’t thank Farm Friends enough for this experience. It wasn’t just an afternoon with bunnies—it was therapy, it was healing, and it was exactly what our girls needed. We hope to make this a regular part of our program because these moments matter."

Throughout the planning process they were highly communicative and professional - they arrived early and even brought birthday decor for the bunny pen and fresh vegetables to feed the bunnies. I hired The Farm Friends for my daughter's 6th birthday. It was perfect!!! The kids loved being able to pet and feed the bunnies. They were great! She came and set up prior to our guests arriving and the clean up was quick and easy after. I would 100% hire her again and recommend this service. My daughter and her friends wouldn't stop talking about the party and can't wait to do it again!
